More than a Meal...

Using the Cereal Golden Centre as our kitchen and dining room, Cereal United Church serves a lunch of soup, sandwiches and pie about five times a year. 

This is a fundraiser for our small church...but it's much more than that. 

Our first Soup and Sandwich of 2017 was held on Family Day (February 20th). Members of the Cereal Community (not just our regular church folk) and the Oyen Community gathered with us to eat and visit.

It's not just about supporting the church but it's also about enriching connections in our community. This is an opportunity to just sit and visit with friends and family. No rushing around to tie skates, or get a dancer's hair just right, no jumping up and down to do something. Just time to relax and enjoy the company of your neighbour over a good, home-made meal.
