In 2013 respresentatives of our local United Churches attended a workshop named "Unstoppable Church." This energized us to see the potential of working together with our neighbours to support faith in our region of Alberta.
In March of 2014 a group of representatives from all seven churches met to review the new model of governance being considered for the Nation United Church of Canada and recognized that we are already functioning as a "cluster"...like minded communities of faith working together.
This meeting was the beginning of Big Country United Churches finding ways to support each other with worship and work.
