June 21, National Indigenous People's Day

Our Big Country United Churches are partners in Treaty 6 (Oyen, Alsask, Acadia Valley) and Treaty 7 (Cereal)

On this National Indigenous Day, I invite us to remember that we are part of a process of story telling, listening and learning toward reconciling where we have come from and how we will walk forward together. 

Indigenous relation, Tony Snow works with the Chinook Winds Regional Council as Indigenous Lead, and Coordinator for Indigenous Right Relations. He and his team offer this 3.5 minute video (link here) as a resource for United Church community of faiths and ministries to learn again of Indigenous History Month.
