Being church in a different way ... God's Connectors

In the middle of March, for the sake and safety of our Members, the churches of the Pioneer Pastoral Charge chose to close their buildings. As COVID19 continues to move through the world, we don't know when we will be able to gather together again. We will be patient and continue to do what we can to offer love and care to the world in other ways. 

Just because we aren't in our buildings does not mean that church is discontinued... indeed it appears to be coming more alive!

We are worshipping each Sunday. It just looks and feels a little bit different. Join us via Zoom for Sunday worship at 11 a.m. (you'll need to email Helen for the link to join us: pioneerpastoralcharge@gmail.com) you can join in via video or telephone. The bulletin and a recording of the message will be available on our website each Sunday. 

We are calling each other. We have set up Phone Trees! Each church is contacting it's members and adherents weekly -- just to say hi. If you haven't received a call or would like to volunteer to be a caller, let Helen know and we'll find you a calling partner or two :)

We are looking after each other.  Printed bulletins are delivered each week for those who request them. We're going to have occasional 'Tea Times' -- meeting online just for conversation. Special services will be offered online for Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
