Annual Meeting Day -- March 4th

We are going to try something new for our Annual Meetings this year.

On March the 4th, all of the churches of the Pioneer Pastoral Charge will hold their Annual Meetings in one place.

• cuts down on the amount of time spent by our Minister for each church (don't feel sorry for her that it all happens on one day ... that was her choice!)
• allows us an opportunity to visit with each other and do some joint planning for the year ahead. We partner together in our ministry so it's good to meet every once in a while!

We will have this amazing day together at the Oyen United Church. 

The schedule looks like this...

• 9 a.m. Alsask United Church (It's 10 a.m. Saskatchewan time)
• 10 a.m. Acadia Valley United Church
• 11:15 a.m. We will all worship together at the Oyen United Church. Communion will be included in our worship. 
• Lunch! Soup and Sandwiches will be provided. 
• 1:30 p.m. Cereal United Church
• 2:30 p.m. Oyen United Church
• 3:30 p.m.  Tea time/ coffee break
• 4 p.m. Pioneer Pastoral Charge
• 5:30 p.m. -- time to go home.

Our Annuals meetings are the times when we meet to 

• review the activities that we did last year
• check out how we did with our finances
• make a financial plan for next year
• plan joint services together
• explore what we want to accomplish this year
• look at our national church and what we are doing together with them.

Come and join in the day:) There will be activities available so that you can do some spiritual practices, meditate, listen to music, learn about the church between meetings.
