Alvin Moore Concert

The Oyen United Church loves to host musicians.

Today we were blessed with the amazing guitar stylings of Alvin Moore. This concert was originally scheduled for the beginning of November but a snow storm meant that it had to be postponed. Alvin was well worth the wait.

This Oyen-born musician spoke of the early Oyen influences that encouraged his musical interests and for an hour, we listened to a mix of classical, bluegrass, jazz and celtic music. We had a relaxed gathering with coffee (decaf of course) tea and cookies available. 

So wonderful, too, to have many folk stay to visit after the music.
