This week in our worship we remember that the United Church of Canada is 96 years old.
We remember that part of the intention of coming together as one church was to work together to be God's faithful people looking after and caring for each other.
We also remember our commitment to support our Indigenous siblings in God's family. We are saddened by the discovery of a mass grave for children at the Residential School in Kamloops, B.C. As part of our remembering, we are asked to commit ourselves anew to be ears that hear stories, voices that call of justice, and hearts that love all of God's people.
