The third Sunday of Advent is Gaudete Sunday -- Rejoice.
Our faith stories tell us to stop and give thanks for what we have.
Even though we may be feeling frustrated and disappointed
that our Christmas plans are being rearranged,
these words shared by people who knew adversity, challenge and fear,
this Sunday reminds us that we do have things to be grateful for.
In the midst of trouble, let's be joy spreaders.
