Today we took one story... Jesus calling his disciples... and explored different aspects of what happened:
We thought about people gathering around to hear what Jesus had to say and wondered: Why do we gather -- even in small groups? Is it important to hear faith stories? Why?
We thought about Jesus pushing people pas their own experience and expectations and wondered: Have you been asked to try something again that didn't work as planned the first time? Why do we resist moving into something new?
We considered that Jesus saw potential gifts in the fishermen that could be used for God's work and wondered: what gifts God is asking us to share for the work of the church today?
